Just before Christmas one of my regular clients saved a life of a co-worker. They used their first aid & CPR training to start compressions and then used their Phillips onsite AED to shock the patient before EMS and Fire arrived on scene. When the emergency services arrived the patient was alive and breathing. Another happy ending thanks to the quick actions of co-workers.
I decided to become a training partner of the Canadian Red Cross so I could offer a first class training program at affordable prices. I believe the general public trained in CPR are the people who will make a difference in patients chances of survival. The early recognition and activating the early chain of survial are they key to heart attack survival. I hope you will become trained and increase someone's chance of heart attack survival. If you have a story to share you can share it here.
